Agere/Lucent has not released a Linux driver for the SV92P chipset

 Lucent 11C1:048C 11C1:048E 11C1:048F  are AMR soft modems for which
Agere Systems is currently coding Linux support. While not having a firm
date, support will likely be available in a few months, and will be
announced on this List
